Dr. Aubree Zubovic
Veterinarian
Dr. Aubree Zubovic graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She started working at Sherman Hill Animal Hospital in July of 2021, after practicing in Waterbury, Connecticut for 2 years. Dr. Zubovic enjoys internal medicine, dermatology, and behavioral medicine.
Dr. Zubovic grew up in Queens, NY, and moved to Connecticut with her husband in 2019. She has a two-year-old son, two kitties, a rescue dog, and a green cheeked conure. Dr. Zubovic enjoys spending time with her family, trips to the beach, and photography. She is so happy to have joined our team and looks forward to meeting all of our adorable patients!
Dr. Kris Kenzora
Veterinarian
Dr. Kris Kenzora (“Dr. K”) is a mixed animal practitioner who has been practicing in Connecticut since 2021. She previously worked as an equine practitioner in the Mid-Atlantic States and Connecticut working with racing thoroughbreds and some show and performance horses. Several years after settling into the local area, she began working with small and companion animals as well.
On days that she is not scheduled in the office, Dr. K continues working with racehorses. Although Dr. Kenzora enjoys seeing a variety of species and various types of cases, she is particularly interested in ophthalmology cases in all species.
Dr. Kenzora received her doctorate in veterinary medicine from Tufts University, and her bachelor’s degree from Boston University with honors, where she studied at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. Her family consists of two children, two Shiba Inu dogs, five Siamese and Himalayan cats, and two chinchillas.
Dr. Stacy Dudek
Veterinarian
Dr. Stacy Dudek grew up in Connecticut and received her B.S. from the University of Connecticut and her Veterinary degree from Kansas State University in 2000. She then entered a small animal rotating internship, before working as both a general practitioner and emergency veterinarian.
She brings over 20 years of medical/surgical experience to her patients and clients. Motivated by a passion for helping animals in need. Dr. Dudek has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and the newer specialty of animal behavior. She is Fear Free Certified and a member of the HSVMA.
She shares her Woodbury home with her two precious dog daughters and two White Leghorn chickens. When not at work, you can find her outdoors enjoying nature with her dogs.
Jill S. Bogdan
Veterinarian
Dr. Bogdan has over 25 years of experience in small animal veterinary medicine and surgery.
Dr. Bogdan earned a BA in Biopsychology from Wesleyan University in 1984, and her DVM degree from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989.
Dr. Bogdan purchased the Middle Quarter Animal Hospital in Woodbury in 2002. She enjoys cycling, swimming, traveling, and spending her free time with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and two cats.

David Daniels, CVT
Practice Manager
David was born and raised in CT, but has lived and worked in both Europe and Asia. He and his family remain in CT, as does his baby brother, Dusty, a 13-year-old rescued Bichon Frise Mix.
Having started with as an intern, back in high school at Veterinary Hospital, he graduated from UCONN Storrs and then spent 25+ years in Human Resources (HRCI-SPHR, SHRM-SCP), working with mostly 2-legged mammals, in a variety of organizations, but missed his 4-legged roots, as well as his home here in CT. After leaving NYC, David attended Norwalk Community College to obtain his CVT and started working in a variety of different Veterinary roles, from Doctor Assistant to Veterinary Nurse. At South Brook Animal Hospital (SBAH), he wears multiple hats, and knows the inner workings of the office intimately. As Practice Manager, he is committed to bringing the highest level of service to all of SBAH’s patients, clients, and staff and continually works hard to create a professional, yet friendly and fun, work environment.
Amanda D’Amico
Veterinary Assistant
Amanda is one. of our Veterinary Assistants here at South Brook Animal Hospital. She has been in the veterinary field since October 2022 and attended High School – Sound School Regional Vocational Aquaculture Center. She prides herself in trying to ensure that every animal feels as comfortable and safe as possible. Amanda believes a calm, reassuring approach helps the whole mood of an appointment be as peaceful as it can be. In her free time, if she’s not in the kitchen, cooking and baking like a mad woman then you’ll find her outside with her daughter, Ariella, and her dog, Juno, or curled up on the couch with her cat, Noah, and a good book.
Caytee McCall
Customer Service Representative
Caytee is one of our Customer Service Representative here at South Brooke Animal Hospital. She’s been in the practice since September 26, 2023 and attended Lincoln Technical Institute in Shelton, CT for Medical Assisting and Platt Regional Vocational Tech in Milford, CT. Caytee prides herself in making a good impression and building rapport, because every appointment starts at the front desk. In her free time, she likes to cook, be with her dogs, and rescue/rehab lizards.

George B. Nashe, DVM
Dr. George B. Nashe passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by his devoted wife and four children. He was the husband of Zheni (Naçe) Nashe. He was a devoted member of the Harwinton, CT community, working over 40 years to keep everyone’s pets healthy and happy. Dr. Nashe sat on the Board of Finance for the town of Harwinton for over 25 years and was an incredibly well-respected member of the community.
Dr. Nashe was born March 7, 1948, in Manhattan, NY, son of the late Pericles and Ifigenia (Totoni) Nashe. As a first-generation American, Dr. Nashe took pride in his Albanian roots, traveled as often as possible to Albania, and sat on the Board of Directors for the NAAC (National Albanian American Council) for more than 10 years. Dr. Nashe devoted his life to animal care and veterinary medicine. He owned and operated Sherman Hill Animal Hospital in Woodbury, CT starting in 2007 and previously, Litchfield Hills Veterinary Hospital in Harwinton, from 1979-2005. He worked alongside his wife and certified veterinary technician, Zheni, for much of his career.
Dr. Nashe dedicated his knowledge and life to animal care and the practice of veterinary medicine. He found his calling in his teen years when he got a job cleaning stalls at the riding stables in Central Park. From that point on, he knew he wanted to help animals.
From strays to show dogs, pigeons to thoroughbred racehorses, kittens to cows, families have sought solace in Dr. Nashe’s care, often seeking treatment miracles. In his 40+ years as a veterinarian, Dr. George Nashe would do everything possible to help an injured soul and never turned away an animal in need for lack of funds.
